Just after he had been on the receiving end of a robust - with but unsanctioned - challenge from Youssouf Sabaly, the Brazilian lashed out with wicked tackle on ex-PSG youngster Yacine Adli and was promptly awarded a second yellow card.
Unsurprisingly, the LFP's Disciplinary Commission decided to rule on the two yellow cards received by Neymar Jr. and, as provided for in the regulations following his expulsion, the Brazilian received a one-match ban.
