Senegalese forward Keita Baldé has vowed to make the most of the 2020-2021 season at Monaco and to keep improving his game.
The powerful 25-year-old joined from Lazio in 2017 and his mobility made him an important member of Robert Moreno's squad before the end of the truncated 2019-2020 campaign, one that he finished with four goals from 21 league appearances, back at the Principality club having spent the previous season on loan at Inter Milan.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Baldé said: "Today my task is to make the most of the next season at Monaco and to become even better."
Having spent his formative years at Barcelona's academy, the Spanish-born Baldé made his big breakthrough in Italy at Lazio. He added: "I was born in Spain, I'm a product of Barcelona, but I've never played in the Spanish league. I became a footballer in Serie A, playing for Lazio, and then I decided to try my luck in Ligue 1. I like to take on new challenges. Of course any ambitious footballer would like to play in the Premier League or La Liga."
