Montpellier playmaker Téji Savanier has been handed a two-match suspension for his red card against Monaco. Check out all the LFP Disciplinary Committee's Wednesday-evening decisions for League 1 Uber Eats.
Khazri back
Defeated by LOSC in the Derby du Nord (4-0), RC Lens finished the match with just nine men after Jonathan Gradit and Clément Michelin saw red. Both Sang et Or were banned for two matches, with another suspended. Beaten by FC Lorient (1-3), Stade de Reims had also finished their match two men down after reds for Anastasios Donis and Moreto Cassama. The Greek was sanctioned with two matches, one of which was suspended, while the Guinea-Boissau man, who scored a simply stunning goal before being sent off, copped a straight two-match ban.
Sent off in Round 6, ASSE's Wahbi Khazri was given two matches (one suspended). Having already served one of those matches on the sidelines, the Tunisian international will be eligible to play against FC Metz in the Round 8 clash on Sunday.
Sakai, Cahuzac cop bans
In addition, eight players were suspended for one match for receiving a third yellow card over a period of ten official matches or for revocation of a suspension. This sanction will take effect from midnight on Tuesday 27 October and they will miss Ligue 1 Uber Eats' Round 9.
