Nice have been dealt a major blow after Rony Lopes sustained a thigh injury that will sideline the in-form attacking midfielder for three weeks.
The on-loan Sevilla man limped out of Wednesday's 3-2 defeat at Marseille with 13 minutes left clutching his right thigh, and medical examinations have confirmed a lesion that will confine him to the treatment room for the immediate future.
The 25-year-old, who had scored twice in the Coupe de France win against Nîmes and found the net in the battling 2-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain, joins fellow first-teamers Dante, Jeff Reine-Adélaïde, Jordan Lotomba, Kasper Dolberg, Danilo and Youcef Atal on the sidelines.
