Angel Di Maria has extended his Paris Saint-Germain contract until the summer of 2022 with an option for a second year.
The 33-year-old Argentinian joined PGS from Manchester United in August 2015 and has made 248 appearances for the club, scoring 87 goals and recording 99 assists. Di Maria has won 16 trophies with the club and is second on PSG's all-time assists table behind Safet Susic (103).
Di Maria told PSG TV: "First of all, I am very happy. I am very happy to have agreed another year with Paris with the option for one more season if we are both in agreement. I think it's something very important for me. My wish and my desire was to stay here because I feel very happy and because my family is very happy too."
