FC Metz: Possible returns

Midfielder Kevin N'Doram (ankle strain) and Senegalese strikers Opa Nguette (thigh) and Ibrahima Niane (ACL) have been training normally and could figure in the squad. As a precaution, midfielder Habib Maïga sat out training on Thursday, but the staff are not worried and he should figure on the team sheet come Saturday. Meanwhile the season is over for Vincent Pajot (operated on an Achilles tendon and out for two months) and Warren Tchimbembe (operated on a meniscus).

PSG: Marquinhos back already?

PSG are not taking any chances with their injured players in their final match before the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City. Club captain Marquinhos is back in training, but Mauricio Pochettino confirmed in Friday's pre-match press conference his captain will not feature. Marco Verratti, who has been under a cloud in recent weeks and was in the process of returning to training, is back as well as goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who has had a shoulder injury. Rafinha and Abdou Diallo, who have been out injured, also return. After being rested in the mid-week 5-0 Coupe de France quarter-final win over Angers, Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappé should make their return to the squad.

ASSE: Without Moulin and Bouanga, season over for Modeste

Saint-Etienne will be without goalkeeper Jessy Moulin, sidelined with a hamstring injury, and club top scorer Denis Bouanga will be missing through suspension. Coach Claude Puel admitted to having doubts about six or seven players' ability to take the field but refused to given names. It's likely that captain Mathieu Debuchy will be one of them, as he limped off in Sunday's match against Paris Saint-Germain with an apparent sprained ankle. Young goalkeeper Etienne Green, who has been in the starting line-up for the last three games, could be another one, as he finished the game with a thigh injury. On the other hand, Stefan Bajic, Moulin's usual understudy in goal, has returned to training, as has playmaker Ryad Boudebouz. Finally, striker Anthony Modeste, on loan from FC Köln, underwent adductor surgery earlier this week and his season is over.

SB29: Faivre and Belkebla back

Romain Faivre (adductor) and Gaëtan Charbonnier (back) are fit for the trip to Saint-Etienne. Haris Belkebla is also back after serving a two-match suspension. Brest coach Olivier Dall'Oglio will be without striker Steve Mounié (suspended for accumulated yellow cards), midfielder Jean Lucas (suspended after being sent off against Lens), as well as Romain Philippoteaux (hamstring), Sébastien Cibois (ankle), Christophe Hérelle (knee) and Paul Lasne (season over after a knee injury).
