Wissam Ben Yedder, Kylian Mbappé, Edinson Cavani... Zlatan Ibrahimovic... check out which strikers have been the most consistent in Ligue 1 Uber Eats in the 21st century.

This season, Wissam Ben Yedder (AS Monaco) reached the 20-goal mark for the first time in his career in Europe's five major leagues. The Frenchman thus became the 21st player to reach this milestone in the 21st century, thanks in particular to his league-best ratio of 1.65 for shots on target/goals (33/20).

At the top of this hierarchy of scorers with at least 20 goals in a single season is the trio of Alexandre Lacazette with OL (league-high 27 goals in 2014-15, 21 in 2015-16 and 28 in 2016-17); Pedro Pauleta (22 goals in 2001-02, 23 in 2002-03 with Bordeaux and 21 in 2005-06 with PSG); and Zlatan Ibrahimovic with Paris Saint-Germain (30 goals in 2012-13, 26 in 2013-14 and 38 in 2015-16).

Wissam Ben Yedder also broke the 15-goal barrier in a Ligue 1 Uber Eats season for the fifth time in his career, and the second in a row with Monaco. In the 21st century, only Edinson Cavani (PSG) has been more consistent than him. The Uruguayan scored 15 times in his first six seasons in Paris between 2013-14 and 2018-19, with a record 35 goals in 2016-17. This helped Cavani become the capital club's all-time top scorer in Ligue 1 Uber Eats.
