AS Monaco head coach Niko Kovac claimed that he could "draw a lot of positives" from his team’s performance in a 2-1 friendly win against German side Wolfsburg in Austria on Saturday.
Kovac’s men made it three pre-season wins in four against their fellow Champions League opponents as they look to build on last season’s impressive showing.
Attributes
"The boys gave a lot, trying to replicate some patterns they had worked on over the past few weeks in training" said a delighted Kovac.
"The results are only of relative importance in a friendly. What matters most to me is attitude, willingness to do well and state of mind. These are elements that we found this afternoon."
