OGC Nice announced the arrival of Mario Lemina on Saturday, while ESTAC Troyes have a new defensive midfielder after sealing the purchase of young Brazilian Metinho on Friday evening.

Lemina is back!

Mario Lemina returns to France after six years away. The former FC Lorient and Marseille midfielder signed for Christophe Galtier’s side, becoming the sixth recruit for this summer.

Lemina started his career at FC Lorient before a move to Marseille and will be familiar with Ligue 1 Uber Eats having made 55 appearances.  The Gabonese international (19 caps), began a short tour of Europe after leaving Marseille, playing for Juventus, Southampton, Galatasaray (loan) and Fulham (loan).  Last season he played 28 Premier League games with the Cottagers.

On Friday evening, the Ligue 1 Uber Eats new boys announced the arrival of 18-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder, Metinho on a five-year deal. He is the sixth signing for ESTAC in the summer transfer window.

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Metinho moved to Brazil at just one year old. He began playing football in Rio de Janeiro, before moving to the Fluminense training centre. Metinho was captain of the club's U17s before being upgraded to U20. The youngster will be hoping to make a name for himself after his move to Europe. He is the first Brazilian to play for ESTAC since Gabriel, who joined the club on loan from LOSC for the 2017-18 season.
