AS Monaco's France U21 midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni received his first call-up to France senior team, with fellow youth internationals Moussa Diaby, Théo Hernandez and Jordan Veretout all following suit as Didier Deschamps announced his squad for upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.

Four new players including Aurélien Tchouaméni! Didier Deschamps' list featured several new names - PSG youth academy graduate Moussa Diaby (Bayer Leverkusen), Bordeaux academy alumnus Tchouaméni (Monaco), Théo Hernandez (AC Milan) and Nantes youth product Jordan Veretout (AS Roma) - but notably did not feature that of France's all-time second-top scorer Olivier Giroud (AC Milan).

16 players produced by Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs

The list includes five players from Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Tchouaméni, Lyon full-back Léo Dubois, Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda and Parisians Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappé.

France will face Bosnia-Herzegovina in Strasbourg on Wednesday 1 September and Ukraine in Kiev on 4 September. Finally, Les Bleus will host Finland in Lyon on 7 September.
