Lyon's teenage super-talent Rayan Cherki is "learning a huge amount" from new coach Peter Bosz, and believes he is going to "keep improving" under the Dutchman this season.

Cherki, who turned 18 in August, has scored once and claimed three assists in 34 Ligue 1 Uber Eats appearances for OL in his fledgling career to date.

He has featured just once in four top-flight matches this term, watching the remainder from the substitutes' bench alongside his freshly appointed boss.

"I can still improve my game. I have to be more efficient, better tactically. I'm learning a huge amount with the new coach. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to improve my tactical positioning, my play is going to keep improving," he told Onze Mondial.

"I have a very good relationship with Peter Bosz. I talk to him a lot. His philosophy suits me. I'm going to keep improving with him, that's for sure. Our discussions are good, we talk about football, about tactics."
