Check out our full list of the 56 Ligue 1 Uber Eats players who will be participating in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, from 9 January to 6 February.

Africa, the home of countless Ligue 1 Uber Eats stars, is getting ready to launch the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations. For this great celebration of football in Cameroon, from 9 January to 6 February, no fewer than 56 players from France's top flight have been called up by their respective national teams.

Here we take a look at the best-represented French clubs and the national teams that have the most representatives from our championship.

Metz on top

With seven of its players present in Cameroon, FC Metz will the best-represented Ligue 1 Uber Eats club at AFCON 2022: Farid Boulaya and Alexandre Oukidja with Algeria, Dylan Bronn with Tunisia, Kiki Kouyaté with Mali, Habib Maïga with Côte d'Ivoire and Pape Matar Sarr with Senegal will all be in action. Among them, they have totalled 96 appearances with FCM this season (84 starts) and 7613 minutes played, by far the biggest chunk of playing time among called-up players from Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs.

Second behind the side from Moselle come FC Nantes and AS Saint-Etienne, each of who have sent five of their players to Cameroon. With Wahbi Khazri (Tunisia), Denis Bouanga (Gabon), Harold Moukoudi and Yvan Neyou (Cameroon) and Saïdou Sow (Guinea), Les Verts have seen five important players leave for the national team.

In total, these players have scored 12 goals this season, representing 71% of their club's strikes. No other Ligue 1 Uber Eats team comes close to this percentage, with Clermont Foot coming in second in the category with 45% of their goals scored by Mohamed Bayo (Guinea). Jim Allevinah (Gabon) and Saïf-Eddine Khaoui (Tunisia) are the other two Clermont Foot players making their way to Cameroon.

Rennes' rearguard called up

Angers SCO, Stade de Reims, Stade Rennais and ESTAC Troyes come next, with four players present in Cameroon. Rennes will have to reshape their backline with the departures of 'keeper Alfred Gomis, stopper Nayef Aguerd and full-back Hamari Traoré, three first-team regulars, as well as that of the Ghanaian attacking star Kamaldeen Sulemana. Among them, these four players have accumulated 5,700 minutes of play - the second highest behind FC Metz - and 71 appearances, including 64 starts.

Meanwhile Angers will be sending some of its most effective players to AFCON. In addition to Enzo Ebosse, coach Gérald Baticle will have to do without Stéphane Bahoken (Cameroon), Sofiane Boufal and Azzeddine Ounahi (Morocco), who have scored nine goals among them - 35% of the club's strikes - this season, the third highest such percentage in Ligue 1 Uber Eats behind ASSE and CF63.

Note that 19 out of 20 of Ligue 1 Uber Eats's clubs have at least one representative AFCON 2022, LOSC being the only squad with no players involved.
