PSG stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappé led the way in Round 3 whilst Lyon forward Tetê added another two to his tally as the top scorer standings began to take shape.

Neymar scored a brace for Paris Saint-Germain in their 7-1 thumping of LOSC to remain at the top of the standings for a second-consecutive week.

The Brazilian took both of his goals in superb fashion to continue his excellent start to the season. Neymar has netted five goals in his first three league games and appears to be in his best form for some time.

Hat-trick hero

Kylian Mbappé's hat-trick has him firmly on the heels of his team-mate after missing the opening game of the season through injury.

Mbappé bagged a superb triple at the expense of LOSC including a wonderfully-worked opener, just eight seconds after kick-off.

The 23-year-old added another two goals in the second half to score his ninth hat-trick in PSG colours, eclipsing the eight registered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The third member of the champions' star trio Lionel Messi also got his name on the scoresheet in Round 3.

Messi produced a classy finish to take his total to three for the season, adding to his two goals on the opening day of the season at Clermont.

Tetê scored twice for Lyon in their 4-1 win over Troyes, to move up to three for the season.

The Brazilian star has slotted in wonderfully well for Peter Bosz's side since his loan move from Shakhtar Donetsk in March and has helped Lyon to an unbeaten start to the season.

Folarin Balogun scored Reims' equaliser in their 1-1 draw at Strasbourg to register his third goal of the season.

The American striker has scored in all three of Reims' league games this season and his goal at the Stade de la Meinau gave Oscar Garcia's men their first point of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Alexandre Lacazette scored his second goal since his return to Lyon, Martin Terrier opened his account for Rennes and Jérémy La Douaron netted twice as Brest toppled Angers 3-1.

Next up...

Paris Saint-Germain's prolific trio of Mbappé, Neymar and Messi will look to continue their ruthless streak when stuttering Monaco head to the capital in Round 4. Tetê and his Lyon team-mates travel to Reims where he will come face to face with Folarin Balogun, who himself will be hoping to add to his tally.

Lens forward Florian Sotoca will hope to be amongst the goals again in Round 4 following his hat-trick on the opening day. Sotoca and Lens face an intriguing clash against Rennes, with both sides looking for back-to-back victories.
