PSG stroll in Corsica

Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi combined to give Paris Saint-Germain a 3-0 at Ajaccio.

Messi's pinpoint pass was finished off by Mbappé (24') to open the scoring. The Frenchman then returned the favour when Messi added a brilliant second (79'). The duo combined three-minutes later for Mbappe's second of the game to keep the reigning champions top of the pile.

"The link-up between Leo and Kylian really worked well, it's very good for the team and it's very good for them," said PSG coach Christophe Galtier who gears his side up for the visit of Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League on Tuesday. "They are players that need to score and that's very good for them. It also allowed me to make changes to give certain players a break. I liked the way that our midfield played too."

Lens add to Marseille woes

A late strike from David Costa handed Lens a crucial 1-0 win against Marseille at the Orange Velodrome.

Costa's long-range effort took a huge deflection off Leonardo Balerdi before beating Pau Lopez (78') to condemn OM to their third-straight league defeat.

"Sometimes football is unfair and that was the case tonight," said Marseille coach Igor Tudor following his side's defeat. "If any team deserved to win, it was us. I told the boys not to be sad, I'm proud of them. It's one of the best, if not the best match of the season. I am proud of how we played, now we have to raise our heads and move forward. We have another match in four days."

Lorient held at Troyes

Lorient fought back twice to earn a hard-fought point in a 2-2 draw at Troyes.

Stephane Diarra's wonderful solo effort for Lorient (50') cancelled out Julien Laporte's own-goal (34') to put Troyes in the ascendancy. Rony Lopes then fired Troyes back in front (61') but the hosts were pegged back once more when Quentin Boisgard levelled up (81') for this season's surprise package.

LOSC edge Monaco in thriller

LOSC came from behind to beat Monaco 4-3 in an enthralling clash at the Decathlon Arena.

Goals from Monaco pair Caio Henrique (34') and Axel Disasi (44') cancelled out Alexsandro Ribeiro's header (22') and Rémy Cabella's simple finish for the hosts (39'). Wissam Ben Yedder took advantage of Tiago Djalo's mishap to put Monaco in front (53') before Cabella's second of the game (63'), levelled things up for the hosts.

LOSC were able to find a winner in the 71st minute through Jonathan Bamba and leapfrog Monaco into sixth place in the table.

Rennes leave it late

A last-gasp Lovro Majer penalty gave Rennes a 2-1 win at lowly Angers.

Amine Gouiri continued his good run of form by putting Rennes in front two-minutes before the interval after a fine team move. Angers hit back through Amine Salama (53') but Majer had the final say from the penalty spot in the third minute of added time.

Blanc picks up first win

New Lyon boss Laurent Blanc registered his first three points after a 2-1 win at Montpellier.

Houssem Aouar fired in Lyon's opener (32') but his goal was cancelled out in spectacular fashion when Elye Wahi's scissor kick drew Montpellier level (69'). Blanc's men had the last laugh when Lacazette buried his seventh goal of the season (89') to hand Les Gones maximum points.

Pépé salvages point for Nice

An added time penalty from Nicolas Pépé earned Nice a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Nantes.

Nantes broke the deadlock in the 49th minute when Ganago finished off a sweeping counter attack. But Nice levelled at the death when Pépé converted from the spot in the seventh minute of injury time to claim a point for Lucien Favre's side.

Points shared at Toulouse

Strasbourg fought back from two-goals down to claim a 2-2 draw at Toulouse.

Goals from Anthony Rouault (44') and Brecht Dejaegere (55') gave the hosts a commanding lead. But Philippe Montanier's men were pegged back when Lebo Mothiba (65') and Kevin Gameiro (73') levelled the score to hand Julien Stéphan's side an important point.

Brest claim crucial win

Brest climbed off the foot of the table after a 3-1 win against Clermont at the Stade Gabriel Montpied.

Goals from Romain Del Castillo (15'), Franck Honorat (54') and Jérémy Le Douaron (68') were enough to give Brest their first win in nine games. Clermont hit back late on through Jim Allevinah (89').

Reims claim late win

A late goal from Junya Ito gave Reims a 2-1 win over Auxerre at the Stade Auguste Delaune.

Folarin Balogun (29') opened the scoring for Reims but Auxerre quickly got themselves on level terms thanks to M'Baye Niang's header (33'). But Ito broke Auxerre hearts three-minutes from time to hand Reims a crucial three points.
