PSG's Warren Zaire-Emery became the youngest player to start a match for the capital club in Ligue 1 Uber Eats on Sunday. But who are the youngest starters in each club's history?

Warren Zaire-Emery dethroned Adil Aouchiche. During the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Stade Rennais FC, won by the Bretons on Sunday (1-0), the young midfielder unlocked the capital club's precocity record in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. The number 33, who was named in Christophe Galtier's starting line-up for the first time, became the youngest player in the history of Paris Saint-Germain to start a match in the top flight - aged 16 years and 313 days. He thus eclipsed Adil Aouchiche - now with Lorient - who was given a start against FC Metz in August 2019 at the age of 17 years and 46 days.

Ahead of Thierry Henry, behind Eduardo Camavinga

But where does Warren Zaire-Emery rank among the youngest starters in each club's history? Well, the Parisian is far from being the youngest. Since 1947-48, eight Ligue 1 Uber Eats sides have fielded players younger than him at kick-off. In the not-so-distant past, we find OGC Nice and Neal Maupay, who started in the elite at 16 years and 179 days and Stade Rennais with a certain Eduardo Camavinga, who was placed in the starting line-up at 16 years and 172 days. The record, among all the clubs currently in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, belongs to Joël Fréchet in the colours of OL (15 years and 320 days).
