Alexandre Lacazette took advantage of a quiet weekend for leader's Kylian Mbappé and Jonathan David, to edge one step closer to the top of the scoring charts.

Lacazette's landmark 150th goal for Lyon salvaged his side a point in 1-1 draw at home to Nantes. The French striker pounced to fire home a 24th-minute leveller, taking his season total to a superb 17 goals.

Wissam Ben Yedder netted his 17th goal of the season in Monaco's comfortable 2-0 at Ajaccio. The 32-year-old showed quick reactions to tuck in from close range to boost Monaco's hopes of Champions League qualification for next season.

Folarin Balogun also registered his 17th goal this term in Reims' 2-1 defeat against Marseille. The Englishman swept in his effort from 12 yards to fire Reims in front at the Stade Auguste Delaune.

On fire

Lois Openda continued his red-hot streak with a double for Lens over basement-boys Angers. The Belgian quickly found his stride again following  last weekend's hat-trick at Clermont and added his side's second goal on the half hour.

Openda went through on goal a minute into the second half and coolly slotted past Paul Bernardoni to register his 14th goal of the campaign

Habib Diallo continued his purple patch in front of goal as he scored Strasbourg's second goal in their 2-0 win over Auxerre. Diallo netted five-minutes from time to register his 14th goal of the season.
