In the 3-1 win over Angers the OM left-back bagged his first assist since R23, and now with 11 assists to his name, he is in front of PSG's Neymar, who is out until the end of the season. In second place on the assist chart with three matches left to play, he is four points behind leader Lionel Messi (PSG).

With this total, the Marseille man equals his record for a Ligue 1 Uber Eats season, achieved last year with RC Lens. Since his arrival in the top flight in 2020, Clauss has built up a solid reputation as an assist provider, having handed out 28 in the last three years. This season, he has provided ten assists in open play and one from a set-piece. He has provided seven of his assists away from home and four at the Vélodrome, to seven different players (Alexis Sanchez x4, Nuno Tavares x2, Malinovskyi, Ounahi, Payet, Kaboré, Gerson).
