Nantes pipped Auxerre in the battle for survival and Rennes claimed the Europa League spot leaving LOSC having to settle for a fifth-placed finish. Check out the action from Round 38 of Ligue 1 Uber Eats here!

Nantes survive tense battle

Nantes maintained top-flight survival with a 1-0 win at home to Angers.

Ignatius Ganago was the hero for Les Canari's with the winner in the 16th minute to keep his side in Ligue 1 Uber Eats.

"I feel relief for the people of Nantes," said Nantes coach Pierre Aristouy. "For all the people who have a yellow and green heart, the employees, the training centre, and all those who will wake up on Sunday with a smile because their club remains in Ligue 1."

Auxerre down

Auxerre were beaten 3-1 at home to Lens to confirm their immediate return to Ligue 2.

Alexis Claude Maurice scored twice (19' & 48') before Loïs Openda added another for the visitors (78'). M'Baye Niang pulled one back for Auxerre (71').

"There is a lot of disappointment for us and for the public," said Auxerre boss Christophe Pélissier. "Seeing players cry in the locker room is hard. It's a difficult job. People only see glitter. There are ups and downs like this. You have to be able to face such moments."

Job done for Rennes

Rennes overcame Brest 2-1 at the Stade Francis le Blé to claim a spot in next season's Europa League.

Benjamin Bourigeaud netted twice (13' & 45') either side of Haris Belkebla's penalty for Brest (36').

LOSC blow their chance

LOSC could only manage a 1-1 draw at relegated Troyes meaning they will play in the Europa Conference League next season.

Bafodé Diakité opened the scoring for Paulo Fonseca's side (52') but they were undone by former star Rony Lopes 18-minutes from time.

Toulouse pile misery on Monaco

Monaco's dismal end to the season continued with a 2-1 defeat at home to Toulouse.

Zakaria Aboukhlal's opener for Toulouse (70') was cancelled out by Wissam Ben Yedder's leveller (78'). Last season's top scorer Rhys Healey applied the winner deep into added time.

Clermont stun champions

Clermont came from two-goals down to beat champions PSG 3-2 at the Parc des Princes.

PSG raced into a two-goal lead through Sergio Ramos (16') and Kylian Mbappé (21') but let slip their advantage. Goals from Johan Gastien (24'), Mehdi Zeffane (45') and Grejohn Kyei (63') handed Clermont a famous victory.

Ajaccio win it late

Ajaccio signed off in Ligue 1 Uber Eats with a 1-0 win at home to Marseille.

Clément Vidal scored the only goal of the game two-minutes from time to give Ajaccio their seventh win of the season.

Nice topple Lyon

Nice finished the season on a high with a 3-1 win over Lyon at the Allianz Riviera.

The hosts took a three-goal lead thanks to Jerome Boateng's own-goal (5'), Gaëtan Laborde (28') and Terem Moffi (33'). Jeffinho pulled one back for Laurent Blanc's side (41').

Montpellier finish strong

Montpellier claimed a comfortable 3-1 win over Reims at the Stade Auguste Delaune.

Folarin Balogun fired Reims in front (28') but Montpellier fought back through Elye Wahi (54' & 76') and Arnaud Nordin (59') to claim the points.

Faivre at the double

Romain Faivre netted twice to hand Lorient a 2-1 win at home to Strasbourg

Faivre's double (10' & 36') was too much for Strasbourg to overcome, who managed to pull one back through Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (57').
