Ousmane Dembélé expressed his delight at returning to Ligue 1 Uber Eats whilst on international duty with the French national team, and gave some insight into the conversations that convinced him to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembélé spoke this morning whilst on international duty with France about his delight to return to Ligue 1 Uber Eats and France. Before France face Germany in an international friendly at the Signal Iduna Park, Dembélé gave some insight from the training camp at Clairefontaine about the how he was convinced by the PSG project under Luis Enrique.

"I spoke with the coach and the president, who explained the project to me. I spent seven years out of the country so I'm delighted to be back in France and at a big club like PSG," said the winger, who recently signed a contract with les parisiens until 2028. 

"All is going well at PSG, there is a really good coach and the words of the president pleased me a lot. I'm hoping to do everything I can to have a really big season."

 

The France international has made a return to Ligue 1 Uber Eats after his breakout years at Stade Rennais earned him a move to Borussia Dortmund in 2016. He then joined Barcelona the following year, making 185 appearances with the Catalan side, scoring 40 goals registering 43 assists over his six year spell.
