RC Lens coach Franck Haise has warned his side to be wary of the threat posed by in-form FC Nantes when the teams meet in Saturday’s big game at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

"Nantes are in a very good situation at the moment. They have been playing very well for several weeks now. They have won four of their last five games, are scoring lots of goals and are playing good football," Haise said at his pre-match press conference.

Les Canaris did not win any of their opening four games this season under new coach Pierre Aristouy but have found a rich vein of form since then and their only slip-up in their last five outings came with a 2-1 derby defeat away at Stade Rennais FC. They head north in seventh place and are five points ahead of Lens in the standings.

Lens' unbeaten streak

Haise added: "They have done a lot of good work with their coach and his staff. They had some difficulties at first but it shows that if you give people time they can put things in place and that is exactly what he is doing. So we are expecting a tough game against a team in fine form."

Lens are coming into this match off the back of a 1-1 home draw with PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League, a result that extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to seven matches, although they have drawn three in a row. Haise said he would be without both David Pereira da Costa and Wesley Saïd due to minor injuries for Saturday’s game.
