This Saturday, there's a double dose of Ligue 1 excitement lined up. First, Stade de Reims go head-to-head with RC Strasbourg, followed by Stade Rennais taking on Toulouse FC. Here's a quick rundown to get you ready for both games.

Reims vs. Strasbourg

There are six games left on Reims' schedule to make a push for one of the European competition spots for next season, but they'll need wins. The schedule will present the squad with a challenging end to the 2023-24 season as they face teams like Marseille, Rennes, and Brest.

Will Still and his team have won just one match in their last four (one win and three draws). Despite the lack of recent victories, Reims trail OGC Nice by four points for fifth place, so there's still the possibility of playing in European competition next season.

As for Strasbourg, they're seven points above the relegation playoff position, which FC Lorient currently occupies. Patrick Vieira and his team are unbeaten in their last three matches (two wins and one draw) and aim to keep themselves at a safe distance in this final stretch of the Ligue 1 season.

Rennes vs. Toulouse

SRFC have hit a dip in form in this final stretch of the season with just one win in their last five matches. Rennes' recent form is impacting their chances to land a European competition spot for next season as Julien Stéphan and his team currently trail Nice by five points.

Rennes will also have a challenging close to the season as the races for a European competition spot will be in focus with Les Rouge et Noirs still to face Brest, Reims, and RC Lens.

Toulouse have created a cushion in the relegation battle, as they're now seven points above Lorient. Les Violets' having secured three wins in their last six games (two losses and one draw) allows them to be near the top half of the table.
