France Didier Deschamps has named six Ligue 1 Uber Eats players - including goal machines Kylian Mbappé and Wissam Ben Yedder - in his squad for the upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

France coach Didier Deschamps announced his squad for Les Bleus' upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers on Thursday, including six Ligue 1 Uber Eats stars in a 26-man squad expanded from the customary 24 due to the busy schedule and amount of travel involved.

PSG superstar and Ligue 1 Uber Eats top scorer (18 goals) Kylian Mbappé and Monaco hitman Wissam Ben Yedder should figure in France's attack over the next week, while clubmate Presnel Kimpembe will likely be competing with Chelsea's Kurt Zouma to partner Raphaëk Varane in the centre of defence.

Maignan a chance

Meanwhile Olympique Lyonnais' Léo Dubois will be in competition with World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard for duties at right-back and LOSC 'keeper Mike Maignan will be hopeful of a chance to take his impressive domestic form onto the international stage in what will be a busy week for the World Champions.

First up Deschamps' men take on Ukraine at the Stade de France on Wednesday, 24 March, and then travel to Astana to take on Kazakhstan on Sunday, 28 March. Their third match in the space of a week will see them jet to Sarajevo, where they will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in their last competitive match before this summer's Euro 2021.
