France U21 boss Sylvain Ripoll has included Ligue 1 Uber Eats stars Amine Gouiri and Khéphren Thuram (OGC Nice), Castello Luke (OL) and Warmed Omari (Rennes) in 23-man squad for a Euro 2023 qualifier against the Faroe Islands and a friendly against Northern Ireland.

For this first gathering of the year 2022, Sylvain Ripoll has selected 23 players including 14 who ply their trade in Ligue 1 Uber Eats and 2 in Ligue 2 BKT. Leaders of Group H with 16 points, France will play a Euro 2023 qualifier against the Faroe Islands on Thursday, 24 March at the Stade de l'Epopée in Calais before taking on Northern Ireland in a friendly, also in Calais, on Monday, 28 March.

This new schedule was arranged following the postponement of the match that France were to scheduled play in Ukraine on Tuesday, 29 March, as part of the U21 Euro 2023 qualifiers.

Goalkeepers: Stefan Bajic (Pau FC, L2), Guillaume Dietsch (RFC Seraing, BEL), Illan Meslier (Leeds United, ENG), replaced by Lucas Chevalier (Valenciennes FC, L2).

Defenders: Benoit Badiashile (AS Monaco), Malo Gusto (OL), Pierre Kalulu (AC Milan, ITA), Castello Lukeba (OL), Quentin Merlin (FC Nantes), replaced by Yasser Larouci (ESTAC Troyes), Warmed Omari (Stade Rennais FC)

Midfielders: Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid, ESP), Maxence Caqueret (OL), Joris Chotard (Montpellier HSC), Sofiane Diop (AS Monaco), Enzo Le Fée (FC Lorient), Michael Olise (Crystal Palace, ENG), Khéphren Thuram (OGC Nice).
