The 2022 edition of the Trophée des Champions will pit Ligue 1 Uber Eats champions PSG against Coupe de France winners FC Nantes in Tel Aviv in late July.
For the second year in a row, the Trophée des Champions will take place in Israel. On Sunday 31 July 2022, at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, Paris Saint-Germain will do battle with FC Nantes.
After a sold-out first edition, the Ligue de Football Professionnel and Sylvan Adams, a leading philanthropist and businessman, in partnership with Comtec Group, are pleased to announce the return of the Trophée des Champions to Israel.
Sylvan Adams and Comtec Group have developed unparalleled expertise in organizing large-scale sporting events. They initiated the Grand Partenza of the Giro D'Italia Cycling Tour from Jerusalem to Rome in Israel and the European Judo Championships in Tel Aviv, both in 2018. In the world of football, the partnership took Atlético Madrid to Israel in May 2019 and organised the friendly match between the national soccer teams of Argentina and Uruguay in Tel Aviv in November 2019. In the past two years, they have organised the Tel Aviv Judo Grand Slam and the production of the 2021 edition of the Trophée des Champions in Tel Aviv. Later this year, Sylvan Adams and Comtec Group will host the first-ever Middle Eastern IRONMAN Championship in Israel.
