PSG will claim seeded status for the round of 16 should they emerge victorious from their trip to Turin and top Group H - but no-one is expecting an easy time of it against La Vecchia Signora on Wednesday night, especially in the suspension absence of Neymar Jr.

UEFA Champions League Matchday 6

Group H

Juventus Stadium, Turin

Juventus - Paris Saint-Germain

- Kick-off at 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT)

Wednesday night is all about top spot on Group H. Paris Saint-Germain head into the Matchday 6 trip to Italy tied on 11 points with Benfica, while Juventus and Maccabi Haifa are on three points apiece.

Galtier: 'They will do everything to qualify'

As Paris have a +4 goal-difference advantage over the Portuguese side, all they need to do is match Benfica's result and they should top the group, but coach Christophe Galtier isn't about to take European legends Juventus lightly.

"Of course, it's much nicer to get to the last game of the group stage and to have already qualified. Qualification was obviously compulsory, and finishing in top spot in the group is an objective for us. We are Paris Saint-Germain and we have this sporting ambition. We've talked about it with the players, we're all focused on that," said Galtier before underlining the importance of not underestimating their transalpine opponents. "We know that Juventus can't qualify for the knockout rounds, but they will do everything to qualify for the Europa League. They are a very big club who will obviously want to play a good game."

Soler to step in for Neymar?

While the objective is clear, the line-up Galtier will choose to get the job done is less so. With Neymar out suspended, the PSG boss is tipped to play new signing Carlos Soler - who scored his first PSG goal in the 4-3 win over Troyes at the weekend - in a playmaker's role behind Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi.

Meanwhile, at the back, he is thought to be in favour of the four-man defence - with Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos partnering in the middle, in the injury absence of Presnel Kimpembe - even though it proved somewhat shaky as they conceded three goals to Troyes.

No reunion

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has a raft of injuries - including PSG old boys Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes - to contend with but is tipped to include PSG academy graduate Adrien Rabiot in the midfield of his 3-5-1-1 formation.
