Les Bleus' Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappé was not present at training at the Jassim-bin-Hamad Stadium in Doha on Tuesday, reportedly nursing an ankle complaint, as France get ready for their quarter-final clash with England on Saturday.
Although Kylian Mbappé seemed to be walking on water as he fired a stunning trademark brace in France's 3-1 win over Poland, it seems he may have in fact been limping slightly; the Paris Saint-Germain superstar is reportedly suffering from an ankle complaint and thus missed the France squad's training session on Tuesday.
On track for England clash
However, Les Bleus' coaching staff indicated that, while his teammates were training, Mbappé was doing some classic recovery work in the gym and the Boy from Bondy is expected not only to return to training right away but to be ready to go for the crunch quarter-final clash with England on Saturday.
