In the 2016/17 season, Mbappé announced his arrival on the world stage in spectacular fashion. At just 18 years and two months he scored his first Ligue 1 hat-trick against FC Metz. His form continued and the season ended in Monaco's Ligue 1 title win. With 26 goals in 44 games, this season was his first as a world-class player.
World Champion with France:

The 2018 World Cup in Russia became the biggest stage yet for Mbappé's talent as a 19-year-old. His goal in the final against Croatia not only helped his team win but also put his name alongside Pele as just the second teenager to score in a World Cup final. Winning the Best Young Player award was proof of his exceptional tournament.

Breaking records in Ligue 1 with PSG:

On Matchday 9 of the 2018/19 season, Mbappé notched four goals in just 13 minutes against Lyon, stamping his authority on Ligue 1. In the process, he broke a record of being the youngest player in 45 seasons to achieve this. He finished the season as Ligue 1's top scorer, leading PSG to the league title and claiming the Player of the Year award.
World Cup Heroics in 2022:

The 2022 World Cup final witnessed another chapter in Kylian Mbappé's legend. Despite trailing 2-0 against Argentina, his two goals in quick succession brought France back into the game. He then scored the third goal for France, completing his hat trick and also scored his penalty in the shootout. Although France lost in dramatic fashion, his performance will be remembered for the ages.

Earlier this year, Mbappé decided to show his dominance by becoming the first player to score five goals in a match for the club in a match against Pays de Cassel in the Coupe de France round of 32. He is currently also PSG's all-time leading scorer.
