What are the most significant individual performances since the beginning of the season in Ligue 1 Conforama? Answers in numbers…

A third of the way through the season, who are the Ligue 1 Conforama players standing out in the stats? Shots, passes, fouls, tackles, saves... Check out the nearly 20 individual records set in Ligue 1 Conforama so far this season.

Paredes the magnet, Neymar the dribbler

Leandro Paredes, who played 144 balls, was the hub of Paris Saint-Germain's play in the big win over Angers in early October (4-0) - more so than any other player since the beginning of the season. In this match, the Argentine international midfielder also set the one-game pass record (139) and the successful pass record (132).

While Neymar has made only five starts this season, the Brazilian has set the bar in terms of dribbles in a single match. In the victory over Angers SCO in Week 9 (4-0), he attempted to round his man 15 times, but still the record for the most successful dribbles in a single match this season goes to new Toulouse man Wesley Said. The former Dijon forward clocked eight successful dribbles during a defeat in Nîmes at the end of September (1-0).

Target: De Préville suffers the most fouls

In terms of shots on goal, two trios stand out. The single-match shooting record (8) is shared by PSG's Neymar, OL's Memphis Depay and Montpellier's Andy Delort. The most shots on target in a match (5) belongs to two PSG strikers - Neymar and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting - as well as RC Strasbourg Alsace's Lebo Mothiba. The South African striker achieved this performance in Week 13 when he scored a double against Nîmes (4-1). Choupo-Moting has also scored with two of his five shots on target - against Toulouse in Week 3 (4-0).

Bordeaux's Nicolas de Préville has the record for fouls suffered in a single match this season. The striker, who has three goals and two assists to his name so far in the campaign, was fouled no fewer than eight times as he played a direct role in al three of Bordeaux 's goals in the Garonne derby win in Toulouse in early October (1-3). On the other hand, the player who has committed the most fouls in a match is Andy Delort. The Montpellier striker has racked up seven fouls in a single match on two separate occasions this season.

Three records for DFCO, André best tackler

As for defensive records, Dijon FCO, 18th in the ranking, have three. Moroccan international defender Nayef Aguerd is the player with the most challenges won in a match - in the draw against Nîmes at Gaston-Gérard in Week 5. He won a total of 18 challenges, including 15 in the air, which is also a record this season. DFCO goalkeeper Alfred Gomis holds the record for the most stops in a league match this season - ten in the 0-0 draw away to OL at the end of October, a match in which the Senegalese international kept one of his four clean sheets in nine matches.

Two other teams in the lower reaches of the table - bottom club Nîmes Olympique and 17th-placed FC Metz, set a benchmark in 2019-20. Nîmes' Lucas Deaux won 32 balls against AS Saint-Etienne at the end of September, despite his side's defeat (0-1). Metz midfielder Habib Maiga is the player who has tried the most tackles in a match (in the 1-0 victory over Nantes on 19 October). However, the Grenat does not have the record for successful tackles - that is owned by LOSC defensive midfielder Benjamin André, who racked up ten in the 2-1 win over Angers in mid-September. The former Rennes captain also notably bagged an assist in that match.
