● Brest's new defender Jere Uronen could become the 5th Finnish player to play in Ligue 1 Uber Eats after Nils Rikberg (Toulouse FC, 1953-1954), Aulis Rytkönen (Toulouse FC, 1953-1960), Teemu Tainio (AJ Auxerre,  1997-2005) and Timo Stavitski (SM Caen, 2017-2019).

● Peter Bosz (Netherlands) will become the fourth foreign coach at Olympique Lyonnais after Spaniard Manuel Fernandez (1961-1962), Serbian Vladimir Kovacevic (1981-1983) and the Brazilian Sylvinho (2019). In addition, he will be the fourth Dutchman to coach in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, after Bep Bakhuys, Hennie Hollink and Adick Koot.

● New Paris Saint-Germain full-back Achraf Hakimi has been involved in 30 goals (12 goals, 18 assists) in the Bundesliga + Serie A since the start of the 2019/20 season. Only Robin Gosens (34) does better among the defenders of Europe's top five leagues, over this period.

● Only 4 players from the current Clermont Foot 63 squad have already played in Ligue 1 Uber Eats before this season: Cédric Houtondji (18 games with Rennes), Johan Gastien (15 with Dijon), Jordan Tell (11 with Caen and Rennes) and Driss Trichard (2 with Toulouse and Bordeaux).

● New OGC Nice winger Calvin Stengs had 9.3 expected assists (xA) in Eredivisie last season, only Dusan Tadic (19), Steven Berghuis (11.8) and Oussama Tannane (10.5) did better. But the former AZ Alkmaar player is the one who underperformed the most in the Dutch league in 2020-21 between his total xA and his number of assists (-4.3 -9.3 xA, 5 assists).

● Kévin Gameiro could play his first Ligue 1 Uber Eats match with RC Strasbourg Alsace since May 17, 2008 (13 years, 2 months and 22 days ago) if selected in Sunday's game against Angers SCO  The former Valencia player has 76 goals in 209 top-flight appearances, including seven in 42 games for Racing.

● If he plays, Amine Bassi could become the 27th player to play for AS Nancy Lorraine (1 match in 2017) and FC Metz in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. He would be the first player to do so since Cheick Diabaté (Nancy in 2009, Metz in 2017).

● Last season in the Brazilian Serie A, new Marseille midfielder Gerson managed more duels (304) and suffered more fouls (127) than any other player. In addition, he registered 77% of successful dribbles - the best percentage among players having attempted at least 50.

● Troyes coach Laurent Batlles will take charge of his very first game in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. Batlles has 66 Ligue 2 BKT games under his belt with ESTAC, registering 39 wins (59%) and 1.94 points taken per game in the division.

● Gérald Baticle will become Angers SCO’s 15th coach in Ligue 1 Uber Eats and just the 2nd in the 21st century, succeeding Stéphane Moulin who spent 10 seasons at the Angevin club.
