Three Stade Rennais players dished out their seventh assist of the season in Round 28 mauling of Lyon, bringing each of them to within two lengths of the podium on the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assists chart.
Rennes are letting loose in the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assists chart. In Lyon on Sunday, the Bretons once again displayed their attacking prowess, putting four goals past Anthony Lopes. As a result three of Les Rouge et Noir continued their rise up the ranking at whose summit we find Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi (PSG, ten assists each).
Against Lyon, Gaëtan Laborde, Lovro Majer and Benjamin Bourigeaud all bagged their seventh assist of the season, leading to a nice grouping of Stade Rennais players in the Top 10. Sixth with seven assists from open play, Laborde leads the way, just ahead of Majer (six assists in open play, one from a set piece). Bourigeaud takes ninth place (four assists in open play, three from set pieces).
Hakimi at it again
Although he had not clocked an assist since the end of 2021, Achraf Hakimi got back to business as he teed up Neymar for a tap-in. Superbly played into the area by Messi, who threaded the needle through a forest of legs, the Moroccan defender expertly picked out the Brazilian superstar for PSG's second goal against Bordeaux. Now with four assists, Hakimi climbs to 20th place on the assists chart and he remains the third-best Parisian assist provider this season, behind Mbappé and Messi.
