AS Monaco's red-carded midfielder Youssouf Fofana and Paris Saint-Germain's three-yellow midfielder Vitinha will both be sidelined by suspension following the meeting of the LFP Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday.
The LFP Disciplinary Committee met on Wednesday to rule on the cases of the players sent off last weekend during Ligue 1 Uber Eats Round 2.
Youssouf Fofana was red carded in AS Monaco's 1-1 draw with Stade Rennais FC and thus given a one-match ban (plus another suspended). After receiving a red card against Angers SCO, Auxerre striker Lassine Sinayoko was given the same sanction, just like Reims defender Emmanuel Agbadou, sent off against Clermont Foot.

In addition, one player has been suspended for a third yellow card in a period of ten matches in official competition (Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions) or by revocation of a suspended ban. The player in question is Vitinha (Paris Saint-Germain). This sanction takes effect from Tuesday 23 August 2022 at 0:00.
