LOSC have announced the signature of 20-yer-old Iceland attacking midfielder Harken Haraldsson on a five-year deal from FC Copenhagen.

On Monday evening, LOSC made official the signing of Icelandic international attacking midfielder Hakon Haraldsson from FC Copenhagen on a deal set to run through to 2028. The 20-year-old is described by his new club as a technically gifted player, "particularly in tight spaces", with a good understanding of the game and good passing ability.

A versatile and sought-after young player

A two-time Danish champion, the 180cm player has been selected 11 times for the Icelandic national team, according to the club's website.

"It has been a long, hard battle" to sign the Icelander, said LOSC chairman Olivier Létang, "He had been on our radar for many months. He is a player who was the subject of much interest in Europe and his profile allows him to play in various attacking positions."

Haraldsson, for his part, said he was "really looking forward to getting started and getting this adventure underway".
