AS Monaco's meeting with RC Strasbourg Alsace at the Stade Louis II on Sunday has been postponed due to the heat wave sweeping much of Southern Europe.
An official statement from the LFP reads:
"Due to the heat wave in the Principality of Monaco and in anticipation of high temperatures at the Stade Louis II in the afternoon, the kick-off for the AS Monaco-RC Strasbourg Alsace meeting, initially scheduled for Sunday 20 August at 5pm local time has been shifted to the same day at 7pm."
Olympique Lyonnais vs. Montpellier Hérault SC had already been delayed from 4pm on Saturday to 8pm, with the city of Lyon projected to his temperatures of 37 degree Celsius during the afternoon.
