17-year-old Eli Junior Kroupi has moved up to third place in the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assist chart after five rounds, having hit his second assist of the season for FC Lorient as they held league leaders Monaco at the weekend.
Starting in Ligue 1 Uber Eats for the first time in his career on Sunday, Eli Junior Kroupi made sure it was a memorable one. The young FC Lorient prospect had the composure to design Lorient's first goal against AS Monaco, setting up Aiyegun Tosin perfectly in the second minute. At just 17, Eli Kroupi's son is continuing to make the most of the playing time Régis Le Bris has given him, with two assists in four appearances this season.
Prospect on the podium
With a fine reputation in youth categories, the France U17 international (nine goals in nine appearances) has made a successful start to life in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. Already making an impact, he is the only player born in 2006 or later to have provided two assists in the five major European leagues. His tally puts him third on the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assists chart after five rounds.
Caio Henrique still top
Caio Henrique, who did not cook up any goals at the weekend, remains top of the table with four assists, ahead of team-mate Takumi Minamino by one goal. The two players from the Principality are ahead of a group of nine players with two assists.
