Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappé is renowned for his blistering pace, but in season 2023-24 he has plenty of competition in the speed stakes Find out which Ligue 1 Uber Eats players have hit the highest speeds so far this season, after nine rounds of competition.

Andy Pelmard is breaking the speed charts. Flashing by at 36.14 km/h, the Clermont Foot 63 defender is the fastest player this season after nine rounds of Ligue 1 Uber Eats. With the 23-year-old defender, who arrived last summer from FC Basel after coming up at OGC Nice, CF63 can count on a particularly speedy full-back, capable of catching even the fastest forwards.

Some fine names on the podium

Behind the Clermont-Ferrand player, another defender is in second place. Timed at 36.11km/h with OM, Jonathan Clauss is the only other Ligue 1 Uber Eats player to break the 36km/h barrier. He is followed by three players clocked at 35.97 km/h: Moses Simon (FC Nantes), Folarin Balogun (AS Monaco) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (OM) - who, despite having just turned 34, has clearly lost none of his lighting speed

Often at the top of the table in recent seasons, Kylian Mbappé currently sits in 17th place, with a top speed of 35.67 km/h in a PSG shirt.
