Will Still was sent to the stands late on in Stade de Reims' 1-0 victory over FC Lorient on Saturday.

The Champagne club were made to dig deep at their Stade Auguste-Delaune, dominating for long periods but only securing the win when second-half substitute Josh Wilson-Esbrand curled home six minutes from time.

It was the Manchester City-owned youngster's first goal for the club, one that sent Reims up to fourth in the table overnight, but Still was in the stands by the time it was scored, having received two yellow cards for dissent.

"We had to be patient, not like me," he reflected after the game. "I was a bit stupid but it drives me crazy to see a goalkeeper taking six years to do a six metre pass. I live and breathe football and sometimes don't know how to control myself. I felt really stupid sitting in the stands."

Still's brother Nicolas - who joined the coaching staff this summer - oversaw the last 10 minutes of the game, while Will later apologised in person to Benoît Bastien and his refereeing team.

Reims have now picked up 17 of the last 27 possible points, but have a difficult run up ahead, with FC Nantes, Paris Saint-Germain and Stade Rennais FC lying in wait.
