Paris Saint-Germain ran out 6-2 winners over Montpellier this weekend in a runaway performance at Stade de la Mosson. We take a look back at some five-star (and more) games from Les Parisiens in recent years.

PSG 5-2 AS Monaco, 2023-2024

Les Parisiens came away with a big win against a high-flying Monaco side earlier this season. Gonçalo Ramos opened the scoring for the home side, as Takumi Minamino hit back to equalise for ASM. PSG then went on to run away with the scoreline thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, and Randal Kolo Muani - with Folarin Balogun providing a consolation goal for the visitors.

Lille 1-7 PSG, 2022-2023

Paris came out the gates quickly as they obliterated Lille at Stade Pierre Mauroy, starting with the quickest goal scored in Ligue 1 Uber Eats via Kylian Mbappé after only nine seconds of play. The France captain would go on to score a hatrick, with Neymar scoring a brace alongside strikes from Achraf Hakimi and Lionel Messi.

Troyes 0-9 PSG, 2015-2016

Laurent Blanc's men were crowned Ligue 1 Uber Eats Champions with two months to spare as Zlatan Ibrahiomovic scored four goals in a demolition of bottom side Troyes. Within 19 minutes PSG were 3-0 up thanks to goals from Edinson Cavani, Javiuer Pastore, and Adrien Raviot - before Zlatan struck three more within 10 minutes of the second half. An own goal was added via Matthieu Saunier, before Cavani made it eight and Ibrahimovic added his fourth.

PSG 9-0 Guingamp, 2018-2019

After being knocked out by the Breton side in the Coupe de la Ligue, Paris Saint-Germain enacted revenge in emphatic fashion with a demolition job in the following Ligue 1 clash. Both Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappé scored a hat-trick, whilst Neymar recorded a brace. PSG had 26 shots, 12 on target, and nine goals to their name in their joint-highest win in Ligue 1 history.

PSG 7-1 Monaco, 2017-2018

Les Parisiens ran out as 7-1 winners over AS Monaco at the Parc des Princes back in April 2018, with Giovani Lo Celso scoring a brace along with Ángel Di María. Edinson Cavani and Julian Draxler also got onto the scoresheet, with an own goal from Radamel Falcao aiding the home side to a big win over the previous season's Ligue 1 Champions.
