A number of Ligue 1 players took to the pitch on Saturday during this FIFA international break. Here's a look at how these talented individuals fared while representing their national teams.

Côte d'Ivoire 2-2 Benin

The reigning AFCON champions took the pitch on Saturday, with AS Monaco's Wilfried Singo and OGC Nice's Jeremie Boga in manager Emerse Faé's starting 11 against Benin. Stade de Reims' forward Oumar Diakité made a crucial impact after coming off the bench, finding the net in the 69th minute with an assist from Boga to equalize the score.

Brazil 1-0 England

The Seleção were in action at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night for a showdown with the Three Lions. Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Beraldo was in the starting 11 for Dorival Júnior and played all 90 minutes to help Brazil secure a clean sheet win over England.

Canada 2-0 Trinidad and Tobago

LOSC Lille's Jonathan David and Canada faced Trinidad and Tobago for a spot in the 2024 Copa América this summer. David was in the starting 11 and after a scoreless first 45 minutes, Canada broke the deadlock in the second half.

The Lille star didn't find the back of the net, but he did assist on Jacob Shaffelburg's goal during second-half stoppage time, securing the team's progress with an insurance goal. David and Canada have punched their ticket to the Copa América, where they will be in Group A alongside Argentina, Chile, and Peru.

Costa Rica 3-1 Honduras

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Costa Rica battled Honduras for the last ticket for the Copa América this summer. After Honduras opened the scoring, Costa Rica scored three unanswered goals, with Navas making two saves. Los Ticos are now qualified for the tournament and are part of Group D along with Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay.
