Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe and Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema led the way as Les Bleus arrived at their base camp in Doha ahead of their World Cup opener against Australia on Tuesday.

Kylian Mbappé and Les Bleus, who will put their World Cup title on the line in Qatar in November and December, arrived at base camp in Doha on Wednesday night. With Mbappé and Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema leading the way, Didier Deschamps' men got settled in at their hotel before the final phase of preparations begins.

Opener looms

The world champions had a light training session on the evening they arrived in Qatar, and will have at least one session at the stadium of Qatari club Al Saad per day until they face Australia in their Group D opener on Tuesday (12:00 CET).
