Nice have been dealt another setback with Hicham Boudaoui sidelined for at least two months with a knee injury.
The Algeria international had recently started showing his best form since arriving at the Côte d'Azur club in 2019, and starred in the Round 27 win at Rennes. However, the 21-year-old limped out of the 2-1 defeat of Nîmes in midweek, and tests have confirmed a meniscus injury.
Boudaoui, who had been named the club's player of the month for February by Nice fans, missed the first seven matches of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats season with a similar injury.
