Paris Saint-Germain's title charge remained on track, Nice left it late to seal their win and Bordeaux won a five-goal thriller. Round 12 of Ligue 1 Uber Eats produced 29 goals including a goal of the season contender from Wahbi Khazri. Check out all the action here!

Di Maria inspires PSG fightback

An Angel Di Maria masterclass helped Paris Saint-Germain come from behind to beat reigning champions LOSC 2-1 at the Parc des Princes.

LOSC dominated proceedings in the first half and deservedly went ahead through Jonathan David’s eighth league goal of the season (31'). PSG rallied, and an improved second-half performance was rewarded when Marquinhos volleyed home Di Maria's pinpoint cross (74').

But Di Maria was not done, and a neat one-two with Neymar was finished off by the Argentine winger to complete the comeback (88').

"I'm very happy with this victory," said Di Maria after his man-of-the-match performance. "It was a difficult match, we had some difficult moments, but the most important things are getting the three points and sending the fans home happy."

Delort late show steals the points

Nice moved up to second place on the table thanks to an Andy Delort brace in a 2-1 win at Angers.

Sofiane Boufal put Angers in front from the penalty spot (29') before Delort levelled when his effort was deflected past Angers 'keeper Paul Bernardoni (57').

Deep in injury time, Delort produced a moment of magic, volleying home from 20-yards to give his side a valuable three away points.

"I am pleased with the performance of my team," said a jubilant Nice coach Christophe Galtier, whose side have taken seven points from the last nine available. "Delort's first goal was lucky because of the deflection, but the second was magnificent. It was extraordinary because the goal came so late. It's satisfying to win in this way."

Lyon hold on to beat Lens

Lyon bounced back from last weekend's capitulation at Nice, to beat high-flying Lens at the Groupama Stadium.

Karl Toko Ekambi put OL ahead from the penalty spot (25') and Houssem Aouar added a second, four minutes before the break. Arnaud Kalimuendo pulled one back for Lens on the hour mark but Lyon held on to claim maximum points.

"We won against an excellent team, probably the best we have played against so far," said OL coach Peter Bosz, who now prepares his side for a crunch Europa League clash with Sparta Prague on Thursday. "In the second half, our ball retention was poor at times but maybe that was because Lens pressed us so well. It's a relief to have got three points because when you look at the table, it was a game that we absolutely had to win."

Marseille back on the podium

Marseille leapfrogged Lens into third place after a 1-0 win at Clermont.

Cengiz Under scored the only goal of the game (25') at a rain-soaked Stade Gabriel Montpied to cap off a challenging week of league fixtures for Jorge Sampaoli's side.

"It was a very important win,'' said Sampaoli who now turns his attention to Thursday's Europa League encounter with Lazio. "We had to rotate the team because we had little recovery time from the game against Nice. We tried to put out the best possible team to win the game. We are happy to have got the three points."

Rennes snatch a point

A Martin Terrier strike nine minutes from time earned Rennes a valuable point as they drew 2-2 with Troyes at the Stade de l'Aube.

Nayef Aguerd headed Rennes in front with his second goal in as many games (9') but it was cancelled out by Adil Rami's header (38') - his first goal for for the Champagne side. Troyes midfielder Tristan Dingome put the hosts ahead (40') before Terrier had the final say, to ensure Rennes stretched their unbeaten run to six games.

First win of the season for Brest

Michel Der Zakarian finally registered his first win as Brest coach after a 2-0 victory at home to Monaco.

Steve Mounié opened the scoring for Brest with a close-range finish (18'), then Franck Honarat finished off a fantastic team move (79') to claim a much-needed three points. Brest climb one place to 18th place whilst Monaco occupy 10th on the table, having lost their last-two away games.

Welcome win for Montpellier

Montpellier moved up to 11th on the table with a 2-0 victory at home to Nantes.

Florent Mollet's deflected effort broke the deadlock (64') before Elye Wahi's strike finished off Antoine Kombouaré's men (71').

Khazri wonder goal salvages point for Sainté

Wahbi Kahzri scored an outrageous 70-yard effort to equalise for Saint-Etienne in a 1-1 draw against fellow bottom-three rivals Metz at the Stade Saint-Symphorien.

Farid Boulaya’s excellent free-kick opened the scoring for the hosts (9') but it was quickly upstaged by the moment of the game when Khazri let fly from deep-inside his own half leaving Metz 'keeper Alexandre Oukidje hapless in his attempts to deny the Tunisia international (16').

Khazri’s strike has been registered as the longest-range goal scored in Ligue 1 Uber Eats history but the draw does nothing for either side's attempts to escape the bottom three. Metz stay in 19th place whilst Les Verts remain bottom of the pile and still without a win this season.

Big win for Strasbourg

Strasbourg enjoyed a comprehensive 4-0 win over Lorient at the Stade de la Meinau.

Ludovic Ajorque headed Julién Stephan's troops in front (28') before two quickfire goals from Habib Diallo (39' & 45') all but ended the contest before the break. Midfielder Adrien Thomasson grabbed another for Strasbourg (64') as they climb into seventh place on the table.

Briand rolls back the years

Veteran striker Jimmy Briand scored twice late on as Bordeaux beat Reims 3-2 in a thrilling clash at the Matmut Atlantique.

Goals from Hugo Ekitike (37') and Bradley Locko (63') put Reims in the driving seat before Yacine Adli's finish (73') got the unlikely fightback underway.

Briand, a 66th minute substitute, produced a fine finish to get Bordeaux level pegging (78') and then completed a stunning turnaround in the fifth minute of injury time, converting from the penalty spot after Wout Faes was adjudged to have handled in the area.

The win gives Vladimir Petkovic his first home win as Bordeaux coach and some much-needed breathing space from the bottom three.
