Since the start of the season, summer recruits have been playing leading roles in Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches. Check out which clubs are benefiting the most from the contribution of their new players at the start of the season.

Folarin Balogun (SdR, 5 goals), Loïs Openda (RCL, 4 goals), Muhammed Cham (CF, 3 goals), Alexis Sanchez and Nuno Tavares (OM, 3 goals each), Alexandre Lacazette (OL, 3 goals) and Mostafa Mohamed (FCN, 2 goals) are the seven new faces of the 2022-23 season to appear in the top 20 of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats scorers chart.

Players recruited during the summer transfer window account for 33% of the goals scored after six rounds in Ligue 1 Uber Eats: that is, 64 of the 194 goals! Proof that the new players have quickly found their feet after a month of competition. Of the 20 clubs, only LOSC and Strasbourg have yet to see one of their new signings find the net. OM, on the other hand, have had nine goals scored by new arrivals.

Goals scored by new Ligue 1 Uber Eats recruits:
1. Olympique de Marseille: 9 goals
2. Stade de Reims and Clermont Foot: 7 goals
4. RC Lens and Montpellier HSC: 5 goals

The impact of Clermont recruits

OM are the league's fifth-highest scorers (13 goals), but have the third-highest percentage of goals scored by new recruits, behind Clermont Foot's three-goal hero Muhammed Cham (7/8) and Stade de Reims' revelation Folarin Balogun (7/10), the newcomers' top scorer.

1. Clermont Football: 88%
2. Stade de Reims: 70%

The new recruits are making the most of their playing time, since although they account for a third of all the goals this season, they only account for 29% of the playing time.

Leading the way in terms of the percentage of goals scored by new faces and currently eighth in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats rankings, Clermont Foot are also the club that have given new boys the highest percentage of playing time (49%). In contrast, players who have joined PSG and Strasbourg have only received 12% of their squad's playing time.
