The CIES Football Observatory recently released their ranking of the top 100 players around the world under the age of 20, highlighting a multitude of French and Ligue 1 Uber Eats talent.

In the latest CIES Football Observatory letter, the spotlight has fallen onto the vibrant emerging talent in European and world football with a ranking of the top 100 players under the age of 20 years-old. We take a look at the six Ligue 1 Uber Eats players featuring in the rankings.

Warren Zaïre-Emery takes the lead

The playing experience of each player over the last year has been calculated on a 100 basis by weighting the minutes played in club or national team matches. Leading the way for Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Paris Saint-Germain's Warren Zaïre-Emery features in second spot just behind Benfica's João Neves with an experience capital of 82.0. The youngster has played 3558 minutes for Luis Enrique's side this season.

LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro features in the top five of the rankings (78.6), ahead of Toulouse's promising goalkeeper Guillame Restes (75.4). Meanwhile, Malick Fofana of Olympique Lyonnais features with Rennes pairing Désiré Doué and Jeanuël Belocian also represented. Angelo Gabriel is the final Ligue 1 Uber Eats player to feature on the list, the Strasbourg forward having played 2029 minutes this season.
