Lyon striker Islam Slimani has equalled Algeria's all-time goalscoring record after snapping up four goals in his nation's massive FIFA World Cup qualifying win this week.
The Fennecs defeated Djibouti 8-0 on Thursday with Slimani finding the back of the net four times to take his international tally to 36 and drawing level with Abdelhafid Tasfaout.
The former Monaco man could claim the record for himself in Tuesday's Group A qualifier against Burkina Faso in Morocco.
